Need help from any Southeast Floridians

My friends birthday is coming up and I would really like to get him a gift certificate for a massage. He lives in the Fort Lauderdale area. I googled "Day Spa Wilton Manors, FL" and came up with a guest house/spa that looks very nice. It has good reviews.

Does anyone know of a good place to go for a massage in the Fort Lauderdale area. It doesn't necessarily have to be gay operated, but it does have to be gay friendly.

Also I remember "back in the day" when massage parlors had really bad reputations - well earned I believe. That's not what I'm looking for. It may be what he's looking for but not on my dime.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I grew up in Ft Lauderdale and try and visit often, but since I've never in my life received a massage, I cant help you

Well to tell you the truth it is nothing that appeals to me at all. I'm not a fan of being touched by strangers. My friend seems to enjoy it though. Actually he had a very bad back and I think he gets some relief from the pain.

My dear Tara,

I am a licensed massage therapist in the state of Florida. Under Florida law, both the massage therapist and the massage establishment must be licensed and include the license number in all advertising. A massage therapist license number will start with "MA" and have 4 or 5 numbers depending on how long the person has been licensed. The establishment number will start with "MM" and will likely have 4 numbers but don't quote me as I'm not as familiar with it.
