Need help from all tight-budget parents!

We have driven down once a year for the last 4 and have a small toddler who is 3. The trick for us is to leave around 8-9pm at night. The kids sleep most of the drive, when they wake up around 7-8am, we are usually in South Carolina (leaving from Delaware), we stop for gas and breakfast, then the kids watch movies in the van and have some snacks until we reach disney around 12-2 depending on traffic. I can't think of a problem we had with the baby driving down or back, all in all it goes pretty smooth.
