While I have been to WDW several times when I was younger, my DH & DS (9) have never been. I was thinking about making them goodie bags, any suggestions? I don't want my son to think it's babyish.

for your son: Disney dollars in a new wallet, a roll of quarters and some pennies for pressed pennies, chapstick (we always get chapped at WDW!) a pass for Disney Quest (maybe your son and dh could do this together while you shop at the marketplace if you're not interested in virtual reality games!) Some cd's and portable cd player for the trip. A book of Disney trivia, a list of hidden mickeys or a 'treasure' hunt (like, find 25 hidden mickeys and receive a special surprise) a disposable camera or polaroid i-zone camera (these are small polaroids that still print out right there, they're very cool!)

For your dh I'll just tell you what is going into the adult packs I'm making....

chapstick
miniature laminated park maps
gel insoles for everyone's shoes
peppermint foot lotion (a great relief at the end of a long day of walking!)
chewing gum
list of hidden mickeys with not exact locations, just hints
disney trivia books

Have fun!

i made up "pillow presents" for each day were were at wdw... first morning we woke up and everyone had a new disney tee shirt (bought online at tds for 1/3 the price of a shirt in the world!)... kids also had autograph books... another day it was disposable cameras for the kids... another were little character tins w/candy in them... one day they each got a new cd (this was our last day, for the plane ride home)... plus plush mickey/minnie... i did some online shopping at tds plus i went to our local disney store and checked their clearance rack!

if your dh/ds like to swim/play in the pool, you may want to bring a little water ball to toss about...

i love the idea of a roll of quarters and 20 pennies... we had a blast collecting pressed pennies!

depending on where you are staying, buy them each a refillable mug (would have to wait 'til you are there, though)

disney dollars are always a great thing!

I put a little of everything in my "goodie baskets" for adults and children alike. So far I have Disney Pez dispensers with extra Pez packs, Disney "Golden Books", Disney activity books, markers, stickers. I found $3 Mr/Mrs Potato Heads @ Dollar General, cheap, new Disney CD's on E-bay, empty M&M rolls to put quarters and pennies in for the penny presses and the list goes on. I found so much of it at Dollar Tree and on clearance @Michaels. I do these for those in our group who haven't been before and I get more enjoyment out of it than the recipients. Have fun. I assure you nothing you gift to your family will seem inappropriate in the excitement of a WDW vacation. I hope you have a wonderful trip.
