Does anyone know that website where you can have a doll made to look like your child? I think I want that for DD for Christmas, but I don't remember the website. I imagine I better get going on this so she can have it in time.

Are you thinking of My Twinn dolls? I believe the company went out of business.

Yup, if you can still find My Twin, I wounldn't use them. Many many problems with their delivery. It can take up to 6 MONTHS.

I'd go with the American Girl Doll. Excellent quality. The outfits are expensive, but they are very high quality, right down to the shoes.

I bought a "My twin" ( www.mytwinn.com ) for my little girl back when she was around 10 years old. It's kind of eirie, cause it looked just like her. She is now 18, but the doll still sits in a chair in my bedroom, along with a couple of "American Girl" dolls!
I never had any problems getting one shipped to me, it was for a Christmas present one year, but again, that was 10 years ago!
