The customer service person at my Sam's said he was sure no Sam's in the area would still have them since they quit stocking them quite a while ago and that our store had been out for a while.

I was going to call the Des Peres store or any others in the area tomorrow morning after opening. The Des Peres store seems to be the only one in the area still showing them as available on the website. I just ordered a box online to be picked up Thursday (since I ordered after 5 PM). Let's just hope I get the confirmation email and not one telling me it's no longer available!

Thanks again and keep your fingers crossed for me please!

I need the small individual tubs of butter like you see at restaurants to use for my daughter's wedding reception. We thought for sure that Sams or Costco would have them, but they don't. I'm getting desperate! Does anyone know where I can get these? I need them by August 7th!! HELP!!:headache:

What about getting butter chips? That is what they call the individual pats of butter I know Costco sells those.

You could simply get sticks of butter, slice them onto parchment laying on top of cookie sheets and keep them refrigerated until needed.

If you just want butter balls, use a mellon baller. Put them in a chilled bowl, then refrigerate them until needed. The same can be done with butter curls. We use all these techniques at the catering company when we aren't using ramekins.
