Here's our schedule for ADR's--only reserving for dinner, as we eat breakfast in our room, and our lunch is all CS, plenty of food for us. Kids are 4 & 8, one girl, one boy. Went last year and rebooked our fav's, (Chef Mickeys and LeCellier) but most of what's listed here is new restaurants for us. Opinions please!

November 11th:
Liberty Tree Tavern 4:05pm, MVMCP after!!

November 12th:
Nothing booked yet!!

November 13th:
1900 Park Fare--6:40pm

November 14th:
Chef Mickeys--7:45pm

November 15th:
LeCellier--5:10pm

November 16th:
CRT--Breakfast paying OOP
Coral Reef--6:20pm

November 17th:
Garden Grill--6:00pm

Leaving November 18th later in the evening, but thought we might hit T-Rex Restaurant or the Rainforest for lunch before heading home

Thoughts/Opinions appreciated! Tried to hit as many character meals as possible, since the kids are still young. Considered Cape May as it sounds like a place "mom" would like, there is nothing listed above that's for me especially. Dad enjoys Lecellier, although I do too, otherwise it's planned strictly for the kids!

A little off my own topic, but any thoughts on BBB for my 4 year old? I can't see spending that much do-re-mi at 4 years old. And what is there that would be equally as special for my 8 year old boy? I can't spend a few Benjamins on her and less than 10 bucks on my son, that doesnt' seem right, and the hairdo for boys is nothing compared to what my daughter would get.....thanks in advance!

My DD4 did BBB last fall and LOVED it. That being said, we are NOT doing it this fall b/c her younger sister could not do it and would be aware of what was going on this year. Also, we planned on the less expensive package and ultimately felt guilted into doing the whole deal because she wanted an outfit like the other girls at BBB.
However, I am purchasing dresses for the girls ahead of time (check out the BBB thread about getting them a bit cheaper, but the same ones she will see at Disney World). We will bring them down with us for the girls to dress up. I may also stop at the Hair Salon in MK and get the $7 or whatever inexpensive price hairdo they offer there. (Do a search here if you want to see pics from there). It is very basic but they do hair glitter or gel (and your son could get that done as well).
Also, my DD4 loved her hair BUT it was so stiff with hairspray, etc... it was a pain to get it clean and she honestly I can pull her hair up in a bun with a crown!!
I know it is about the experience, but I think you can find something else they BOTH can do for the same price as sending your DD4 to BBB.
For example, I am sending DD4 to the Alice in Wonderland Tea Party and the GF on afternoon (about an hour and half - no parents, but they give you a beeper and you can wait outside the room, grab something to eat, etc...). Your son could do the pirate cruise at the GF!
Just a few suggestions!!
How picky are your kids for dinner? And do you want a meal that is good for you guys or them? Since you have a good amount of character meals how about Boma? It offers a ton, its different than what you have, gets rave reviews, and you can take the kids around the AKL before or after dinner to see the animals. Also, there is a storytelling around a campfire (African storytelling) that might be neat after dinner???

Some suggestions for your unsceduled day
AKL-Boma we are doing this a 2nd time because we loved it
DHS- SciFi- my kids love this place
Epcot-Teppan- fun to watch the chiefs

These are our favorites

I really have considered Boma, what are the menu items there? I don't know if any of the African food would please my family?

My son is happy with chicken strips and my daughter, fruit, fruit, fruit. LOL My husband and I have more of a range of likings! Last year when we went, we went right before she turned 3, and she was not on the dining plan. She ate my son's fruit at every meal and was more than happy with that, if that tells you anything!

The tea party and pirate cruise sound like great fun, I will look into that for them, thanks so much for the suggestion on that!

I'd try to get a Dinner ADR at Whispering Canyon Cafe (at the Wilderness Lodge). Decent food but the antics are what you go there for!

Another good choice (as others have said) would be Boma at AKL. Most of the stuff there is pretty familiar and they have a children's area with chicken strips, mac n' cheese, etc. if someone is feeling a bit picky. Look around and see if you can find the rotation chart (make a thread about it and someone will post it pretty quickly) as it lists what is served the various days of the week.

Try the Ohana breakfast, DH and I just did it this past Saturday and it was awesome! The best character interaction we ever had at a character meal.
