I'm taking my 14 year old nephew and 11 year old niece next week. I'm their sweet Aunt who has no children.
Here's my question. We're staying on site. We'd like to do breakfast on the go so we don't have to waste precious morning time. Other than fruit, granola bars, and bagels, what's good (and healthy...we don't do pop tarts, etc.) and easy to take with you to the parks? I'll be taking a small cooler, but there won't be room for yogurt or that kind of stuff. I'm planning on keeping pints of milk and cream cheese (for bagels) in the cooler. I'm also planning on taking a couple of pounds of good trail mix and carry in small ziplocs every day. Also, fig newtons.
The kids don't do lots of sugary stuff. Any healthy breakfast ideas out there, Moms? I'm a despirate single Aunt!
Thanks!
