Hi, we'll be traveling (self, DH and DD14) for my 40th bday 7/30-8/3. We'll be arriving late on Thursday and will really only have Friday, Sat and Sun for dinners and Monday for lunch before heading to the airport at 6:30pm.

Any suggestions for which restaurants are a "not to miss" since we only have three days?

SO MANY CHOICES and NOT ENOUGH TIME!!!! :dance3:

Are you on the dining plan? What parks will you be at? Will you have hoppers? These are all important questions so we have an idea of what to recommend. Any fuzzy/picky eaters?

what a wonderful birthday gift, happy birthday in advance to you!!! Are you going to be on the disney dining plan? If so great, if not and money is not a problem, I would suggest the following table servies to eat at first, LeCellier, it has wonderful foood and the atmosphere is relaxing, it is located in Epcot, I would recommend The Coral Reef, that is also located in Epcot and the food is great, you can view the huge aquarium while you dine, also I would suggst Tuto Italia, located also in Epcot, it is a wonderful place to relax and the food is great, as far as a counter service I would recommend cosmic rays in the Magic Kingdom, they have the best value and selection for the money, depending on how hungry you are, you may be able to split a meal with hubby and the kids may be able to share a meal too, Flame tree bbq in Animal Kingdom is another great choice and value as a counter service, In Hollywood studios, starring rolls cafe has a nice selection for a counter service, these are all places we have eaten at and have enjoyed. I hope you have a wonderful trip!

Happy Birthday, I just came back from celebrating my 40th at WDW. These were my favorites: Chefs and Bistro in France at Epcot, Bistro is more $ and no DDP. I also loved Coral Reef, LeCellier, Brown Derby and Ohana for dinner and watching the fireworks from MK. at the Poly. I was pleasantly surprised by SanAngel Inn in Mexico, it has been quite some time since I ate there and had to pull teeth to get my husband to go. It was great and the atmosphere can't be beat. Those are what came to my mind w/o and a second of thought as my best*est memories from this trip, oh and we even did CRT for breakfast I loved it and it was just me and my husband. Have a great time.

we are not on the dining plan but are staying concierge level at the Floridian (only stayed value resorts before, so we are really looking forward to GF). DD14 has never been to Disney. DH is the pickier one of the three of us, but, DD14 kinda eats like a bird.

I was thinking to use the concierge level for breakfasts to help save a little there.

I was concerned that we (the three of us) were "too old" for CRT.

We will have hoppers and hope to visit the 4 parks (no water parks). Not on dining plan. DD14 kinda eats like a bird and DH is the picky one...meat and french fries, corn is the only vegetable, but he will eat salad, italian, pizza, mexican.

We were considering the Fantasmic dinner....is it worth it?

I would try Grand Floridan Cafe, since you are right there. It is a wonderful little secret. You can usually get adrs there with no problem. Another one of my favs is Kona Cafe either for breakfast or for dinner.

I hope you have a wonderful Bday, and a wonderful time in WDW.
