Need Help deciding which day for Universal

Hi we are going to be in Orlando the last week of October. I had originally designated Wednesday the 27th for Universal and the next day for IOA. However, the 27th is a HHN, which we are not attending. Would I be better off going on a non HHN day, which would only be possible on Monday 25th for us. Also does HHN greatly, if at all affect crowds at IOA? Thanks for your help.

HHN doesn't usually affect IOA crowds...only the Studios in the afternoons. I think you would be OK with any day that week. Just remember though...the Studios closes at 5pm on nights HHN is staged so if you wanted to go on that Monday, you would get an extra hour at the Studios.
