Need Help Deciding Where to Stay Off Site

Hello Disney pals! I have read these forums for quite some time now while working on our 1st Family Disney trip coming up in March. There is myself, my husband, 17 year old daughter, and twin boys that are 6. Us girls have been before but not the guys in the family. I have been checking into townhouses and condos (2-3 BR) that we can rent from the owner to save money while having more space and a kitchen. I would like to be somewhat close to WDW so that we can take a mid day break if we choose to. I have seen good reviews and posts on Windsor Hills that it is nice and it is also close. I've received quotes for Lake Buena Vista Resort which is also in our budget.

I have found properties in our budget in the following resorts.

• Crestwynd Bay
• Windsor Hills
• Windsor Palms
• Lake Buena Vista Resort
• Regal Palms
• Compass Bay

Any help with the best location for a family of 5 with small children who want to be near Disney yet on a budget is greatly appreciated.

If there is a property other than the listing above that you recommend or feel that it would fit our needs please let me know!

We have booked through Vacation Central Florida twice now (Windsor Hills). We are also a family of 5 and we book a 3 bedroom condo. Do a search on Vacation Central Florida and you can get a comprehensive opinion. Both of my experiences were great and I will use them again. Good luck planning!

Wyndham Bonnet Creek would be closer than all those properties and fit your needs. There are many threads about that resort -- and with good reason.

Oakwater Resort is also a nice resort. It's on the same street as Windsor Hills, only a little closer.

Bonnet Creek! Rent from an owner on myresortnetwork.com. Google the resort...all of you will love it and you cannot beat the location. Something for everyone.

We've stayed at Windsor Hills twice and had good experiences. We've also stayed at Emerald Island. I didn't see it on your list so you could check there. A little further than Windsor Hills but only by 5 minutes or so.

Another for WBC. Great property, great prices, and (if you're lucky) an amazing view of the Epcot fireworks!

We have stayed at Windsor Hills twice and it is a great place! We are staying at Bonnet Creek for our upcoming trip though and that looks like a great resort as well.
