Need help deciding to go / Crowds

Hi I really need some help I need to decide eithere today or by tom. If my family should go to DL the 24-29 of June. We would be there in the parks I am planning of 3 days for sure maybe 4 if needed and it would be a Monday - Thursday. We were there the week before Memorial Day 2 years ago during teh 50th and the crowds were nothing. This would only be our second time going and I just have no idea what to expect for crowds. We really want to go but are we nuts for going that time of year or would someone suggest a different time? Thanks I really need some help/advice. Thanks In advance

I happen to think those dates are great (we are going June 26-28 ourselves). If you have not seen this yet, read summer advice here: "Getting The Most Out of a Summer Visit To DLR" www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1345319. If you stay at the parks all day, they will be fairly crowded mid-day. But there is no reason to do that.

If you think you can get your crew over to the park gates each morning when the park opens, then you will be fine. If you do what a lot of other people do, which is arrive 1-3 hours late at the parks and stay all day, then leave early, you will stand in a lot more lines and the crowds will seem much worse.

Can I hijack this thread to ask a question about best time to go?

We are looking at going one of three weeks during winter break:

December 17-21 (DS will miss 3 days of school)
December 24-28 (DS won't miss any school)
December 31-January 4 (DS will miss 2 days of school

These are all Monday - Friday in order to avoid the weekend crowds since we will already have the winter break crowds to contend with.

Is one of these weeks better than the others?

They will all be busy. The first week you listed will be best. The next two weeks will both be very busy.
