Hi! We are headed to the world in a few weeks and I need some help deciding on ADR's. We have only eaten at a few TS restaurants so really don't even know what all is available. DH and I are vegetarian but DS5 and DD2 are not (however, neither are huge meat eaters). We are off site for one week and then at AKL 4 nights. We are not doing the DP as the cost of adding it to our room (due to having to purchase a 2 day ticket which we don't need as we have tickets) was $600 (more than we'd probably spend on food in 4 days we think). I'd like to try some TS restaurants even before we arrive at AKL. Here are the ADR's we have so far:

Ohana (breakfast - most likely just DS and me as DD really doesn't eat much breakfast and DH didn't have much to eat last time - he doesn't eat eggs, I do, so was fine)

Chef Mickey - breakfast (considering canceling due to some negative reviews lately

Sanaa - dinner (went here last trip and LOVED it)

This is all we have so far but I'd like to try some other TS restaurants. We may have lunch at The Wave one day (we did last trip and loved it).

We will have several non-park days so I'd really like to try TS places not in the parks so those days can be spent relaxing before and after the meal. We might consider one in park meal but usually our park days are hectic just trying to do everything!

Any suggestions for two vegetarians and kids for TS meals?

Thanks!

Guess I should clarify - we'll probably do a few TS meals before we are on property. I read my post and realized based on what I said it seemed as if we should go ahead and get the DP. Our Chef Mickey ADR is while we are off site. So is our Sanaa ADR.

Your best bet is to look at the online dining reservations and see what is even available at this point. Because it is free dining when you go in a few weeks (as it is now), most of the more popular restaurants are really full. I would start by deciding what park you are going to be at that day and work from there.

Some of our favorites (as were our kids when they were young and traveled with us) are:

Magic Kingdom -- Crystal Palace (breakfast only)
Epcot -- Biergarten, LeCellier, Rose & Crown
Studios -- Mama Melrose or Sci Fi
Animal Kingdom -- Yak & Yeti

We also really like Cape May Cafe which is a buffet for breakast (with characters) and a buffet at dinner (no characters). We also really love Boma at the AKL and will be back ther ethree weeks from tomorrow.

I would recommend the following for some fantastic meals :goodvibes

Magic Kingdom - Crystal Palace

EPCOT - Les Chefs de France, Rose & Crown, Coral Reef

Hollywood Studios - Hollywood Brown Derby

Also: Jiko, Narcosses, and Artist Point are all teriffic!

I'd recommend the Tusker House lunch/dinner buffet. They have some really good veggie choices. :goodvibes
