we are going down and staying 3 days pre and 1 day post cruise and i need suggestions, there are 3 of us i'll use a triple A rate i was going to the pop but i have read some very negative reviews on that resort, please tell me where u stayed and your experiences.

I love AKL. I would suggest that you try it for at least one night-- maybe after your cruise. It is farther away from the parks (except AK, of course) but it's worth it. Also, Boma for dinner is excellent!

Since your splitting your stay, why not try one resort pre-cruise and another resort after. That's what I would do!

Our last stay we were at the Boardwalk, and we really liked that. Previously we have stayed at the BC, liked it but not as much as the Boardwalk. Use to stay at CBR, always enjoyed that but the last time turned us off because they were not keeping it up like they use to. Also stayed at All Star, liked it but the rooms were really small, I would assume that the same would be true of the Pop. Let us know what you choose. Good luck! :shamrock:

I would stay at BW the 1st 3 nights and AKL when you return, unless you have a really early flight out the next morning then I would probably stay at POR (I don't think it's worth the money if you have to leave early)

after the cruise we need 1 night then we check into our time share resort for the next two weeks, i might do the first 3 nights and one and the other 1 night somewhere else, i was thinking valuse because we will hardly be in the room, do need a lot of space just to sleep, just want something cozy and quiet or as quiet as it can be

We stayed at ASMo last fall, and we really enjoyed it there. We didn't think the room was horribly small, it was about the size of a standard hotel room. Especially for just one night, I think a value resort would be fine. We're staying at Pop this fall, and I've read the negative reviews, but I just take it with a grain of salt. Not everyone has the same expectations as we do, and we didn't mind the value resorts.

the main reason i picked the pop is because they have their own bus stop, it does not stop at any other resorts, and when you think about the amount of time we will spend in the room, i think a value resort will be just fine.

We stayed at ASMo in Purdita (I think) and we thought it was great. I don't remember any issues with noise other than the turbo flush at times. We were so tired that we never had any problems going right to sleep. My kids loved the pool and just the exciting feel of the place. I remember when we would come back from the parks there were still people out and about and in the pool. We loved the way the pool looked at night. The only issue is with the amount of people staying there and the line to get on a bus. They did seem to have more busses, but you still had to wait awhile.

We stayed at the POP and found it to be very nice for the price. I love AKL, but for park days we do POP. I didn't hear any noise in my room at all, but I have heard others complain about that.
