Need help clearing up AAA discount info please!

Can I please get a confirmation regarding the accuracy of my info below:

AAA discounts:
Book ROOM ONLY directly with WDW and like other room only bookings no dining plan can be added.

Book PACKAGE through AAA and can get a reduced rate and dining plan can of course be part of a MYW package. This rate cannot be booked by WDW directly but must be booked by a AAA agent.

I have a AAA room only rate booked but I as have learned more about the dining plan I am considering booking a package. Thanks!

You're right on both points!

We booked a package with AAA to get the dining, and saved almost $300!

IMO book the package. We did character dining every night and the average bill without the dining plan was around $60 for 2 adults and 1 child and lunch was about $30. Plus it's already paid for!!!!
