Hi everyone,
I am in semi-final stages of planning my extention trip to Orlando for September. Will be staying the last part on site at POFQ, but am going to be staying off site using a time share for the beginning part.

At this time need help in deciding which property to choose, so any feed back is appreciated!!

Which would you choose?
Sheraton Vistana Resort
Marriott Royal Palms
Marriott Sabal Palms
Marriott Cypress Harbour
Marriott Grand Vista

TIA!

Should add that it will just be me....no need for golf stuff, just want time to relax.

I have stayed at the Marriott Grande Vista and the villas at Marriott Orlando World Center that have 3BR units (can't remember if this is Royal or Sabal Palms). On the basis of just the unit itself, I would definitely choose Marriott Grande Vista. Beautiful furnishings and decorations and excellent housekeeping.

As far as amenities go, I think it depends what is important to you. I liked being able to use the main pool at Marriott World Center which I think is one of the largest and nicest in Florida and not overly crowded. Main pool at MGV was less impressive and more crowded, but another major pool just opened there so this may be improved. Both resorts have smaller, "quiet" pools which were similar.

If you won't have a car and don't want to cook for yourself, this could be a deciding factor. Food options are very limited at MGV (one restaurant I didn't try, a pizza window, and a small convenience store). At World Center on the other hand, you have your pick of all the resort restaurants, many of which we tried and liked.

As far as location, World Center is very close to Downtown Disney and the parks, but MGV is only a couple miles further if you go the back way (down International Dr.) instead of using I-4.

Hope this helps.
