Need Help Choosing ASAP

Someone told me to post this over here.

We've decided to leave a day early to head to WDW. We have to choose between the Grosvener Resort or the Best Western at Downtown Disney. The cost is about the same. Which one has the closest, easiest walk to DD? Which would you choose? Any help would be great. We'd like to book one tonight.

I don't know anything about the Best Western, but my parents (who are not choosy - mainly interested in a great price) had the Grosvenor for several nights at a $39 rate. They left after the first night and absolutely HATED the place. Sorry not to be encouraging...

She said it was very noisy, very rundown (if fact, she said they should have torn it town and started over a long time ago), and not too clean. Again, they aren't too choosy (as long as it's clean) as long as the price is right (and at $39, the price was great), but they left after one night.

We had other relatives who recently stayed there. They agreed that it was rundown and said the beds were awful.

If you get a Tower room at Grovsenor its not too bad..the courtyard rooms get most of the complaints

We stayed a couple years ago at the BW and it was ok but not spectacular either but better then Grovsenor

Grovsenor is a closer walk

Not sure where you are getting prices at or if its feasible but I would try to do the Hilton near there.Its very close and you can get it alot on PRiceline for around $60

Also the HOtel Royal Plaza was just totally remodeled
