Need help booking room only and removing days

Ok so I booked a stay for February 7th-11th under the Disney Visa room only offer. I got WL courtyard view since no standard rooms were available and it was only $3 more a night than woods view.

Now I have a pin code for 35% off (an additional 5%) but no more standard, woods or courtyard rooms are available. Bunk rooms are but it is me and DM and we would prefer two queen beds. I was playing with the system tonight and found I can book a stay from 2/7-2/16 and courtyard room is available. I would like to go ahead and reserve this to lock in the 35% savings but would need to remove the extra days later. Has anyone done this? Is there a chance when I call to remove the extra un-needed days that they will tell me the discount offer doesn't apply?

I have booked a stay with room only discounts and then called to have extra days removed. I never lost the discount. The only time you lose discounts are when you change the dates to be outside of the discount period. But taking days away shouldn't change anything.

I've booked a room only reservation where I've cancelled extra nights and kept the discounted rate. Cancelling extra nights is no problem (assuming the reservation doesn't require a certain number of nights to qualify for the discount), it would only be an issue if you wanted ADD nights to an already booked reservation.

Thank you!!!! There was no requirement for number of days so I will go ahead and book it.

ETA: I called and removed the additional days with absolutely no problem!
