We are planning a trip for Aug 30 - Sept 4. Our itinerary is pretty set, but I am having problems with trying to help my 15 year old daughter get excited about this trip. She has been to MK once when she was 10, before her little sister was born. So now we are having the dilemma of trying to keep a 15 year old and 5 year old happy. We know the 5DD will be happy with everything, but with no one to share her experiences with, besides her old mommy and daddy, 15DD is very pessimistic about EVERYTHING. Has anyone had this issue?
I am SO hoping she meets someone at the pool the first day and they can hang out throughout the trip and maybe be going to MK on Monday Aug 30 as well.....

She best snap out of it, cause once you are a princess you are always a princess.... Did she go to prom this year? Where do you think the prom dance and events came from. The princesses, Duhhhhhhh... Is the DD aware there are princess prom dresses???? Oh by they way, has she started to think about her prince charming?

Although WDW may not be a 100% fun ringer for a 15yo, how about you let her pick a park to goto. Maybe universal with harry potter? Or has she picked out fast passes. My DD 11, loves roller coasters and tower of terror. So we make sure she gets some of her fun as well. It all balances out, just need to find out what shes into from a park perspective and fit it in, even if it means blocking out the b or c choices for the 5 yo.

Also water parks maybe a place she would dig.

BTW - even though my DD has hit the "I don't like princess button" The way I explained it, if she just might happen to want to indulge in a little princess stuff, she can at WDW, as she wont see anybody she knows. Maybe a little make up, teenage dress up..... maybe she has her own vision of teenage princess you can live with on vacation?? If you are near a disney store, I know my DD like picking out the adult tees, there are so many adult female characters besides princess. AND then you have the villians and fairies. Heck maybe she is a star wars or Marvel fan.....
