I've so enjoyed finding these boards and reading up on the ins and outs. But, now I need help. I can't seem to get a clear cut view of what to do first in making a reservation.

Do I call an agent thru small worlds or someone, call Disney direct, or call AAA? We were all set w/a terrific rate at OKW ($873 for a Sun-Sat. studio on early Oct), but we can't get the dining plan. So, I think we're going for a moderate at the tail end of value season in early Oct.(not sure which one). We dont' have AAA, but can get it for $52, so we have to save more than that. I know I won't get any email codes since we've never been.

What is the best way to start to get the best rate?

These questions are probalby redundant, but I'm so confused! I also so want to stay at WL, but I know it's much more pricey. Thanks in advance!

I don't recommend AAA because they are travel agents and not Disney "specialsts". We used Small World Vacations last year that we found on mousesaver.com. We do belong to AAA so they got us a AAA discount immediately and as time went on two better deals came out and they kept reducing our price. We ended up saving $800.00. They also made all of our priority seatings for us. Great people and wonderful service. You can't do better yourself and it's free! Try their web page for a free no-obligation price quote. You can ask for a price with and without the AAA to see if it is worth it for you to join. Their site is WDWVacations.com.
Happy planning!!!!
