Planning for 2007...we were thinking of going to CA either June 9-16 or June 16-23 (both sat - sat) and will be at DL Wed, Thurs, and Fri nights. Now I was reading some stuff about grad nights on Thurs...well, Thurs is going to be one of our 2 days at DL. Do grad nights go thru the 20th of June? Would we have less crowds the 2nd week I listed, or the 1st? Any opinions?

If you go to the DL calendar you can see when all the grad nites for June are (the days the park closes at 9) looks like there is one on the 22nd so I would have to say then yes they go past the 20th.

Yes, Grad Nights are Thur and some Weds the end of may through mid June. It really depends on how late Schools get out.

As for hours, they really depend on Crowd. Usually until mid June they have shorter hours, however it has been so crowded lately that they've been extending their hours more than normal. Who knows what next year will bring. They Usually still show fireworks if they are daily, but close the park right after them. A 9 closing isn't really that early, and you could just make that your DCA day if you wish.

I didn't realize parks were open til 9 still w/grad nights. I was thinking they'd close at 6pm or something. 9pm is still fine...we'll be with our 5.5 and 3 yo so we wouldn't stay much later than that anyway. Thanks!

Most schools out here get out the first and second week of June. You should be safe with either choice. Crowds will be heavier on your second choice. ::yes:: :wave2:
