Hi,

We'll be taking our 4-yr old DD and almost 2-yr old DS to Magic Kindgom sometime November 24-26. We're only doing one day. Our inlaws live in Orlando so we'll be staying with them during our trip to Florida.

I'd like to stay in a Disney property hotel the night before our big day at Magic Kingdom, and would like help choosing a property that has a nice wading pool/playground area for kids.

I've been deciding whether to splurge and stay at Animal Kingdom (they have availability, I'd have to book today, though, to get the CKO rate)...or save and stay at All-Star Movies if we can get into the Toy Story building.

Are there other hotels (not more expensive than Animal Kingdom) inside Disney with nice pool areas for young kids? It doesn't have to be near Magic Kingdom as we'll have a car and also take advantage of buses.

Again, it's only for one night, but would like for the kids to experience that Disney Magic and stay on property. A hotel that appeals to very young children is of utmost importance.

Thanks!!

Welcome to the boards!

I can speak for CSR which ahs a great pool area with a small pool for little kids and a playground area. The large pool has a slide that your daughter may or may not be brave enought to tackle. But the pool area has life jackets you can use as well as towels.

Check out my web site for pictures

Good luck deciding!

For the best kids experiance I would stay at the Asmo. The theaming there is great for them. We have stayed there twice and at the Poly once. When we stayed at the Poly the kids kept asking when we were going to the "Disney" Hotel, meaning the Asmo.

I second ASM. The icons are awsome for the little ones, and the Fantasia pool sounds like what you are looking for. We have also stayed at AKL, but my kids loved the theming of the Movies.

We are a fan of asmo also. We stayed in the TS building and had a blast.

How about The Wilderness Lodge? My DD loved it. There is a great wading pool, the kids will love the guyser, and you can take the boat ride to the MK... DD LOVED that, as well!

Our kids loved AKL. Our two youngest were about your children's ages. They really enjoyed seeing the animals and exploring around the resort. They liked the little playground area, as well. We didn't swim in the pool, because it was pretty chilly when we were there (January), but the pool was huge and very nice looking.

Good luck with your decision!

The French Quarter has a great pool with a dragon water silde.
It is also a smaller resort so it is easier to get around.
