I want to have something special waiting in our resort room for the kids when we arrive. I thought I'd buy monogrammed Minnie Mouse ears for the girls. But I have no idea what to do for the boys (ages 14, 7) as I am a mom of only girls. My neice is 9 and I don't know if Mouse ears are too childish for kids of her age.

So I need ideas, please :)

My DD is 11 and just bouht herself gold mouse ears last month! How about a lanyard set for each of them. Or maybe lanyards or mouse ears for the younger ones & a WDW tee for the 14 year old. MY DS is 7 and he has mouse ears and a lanyard with loads of pins!

I just ordered the Hidden Mickeys book from Barnes & Noble for our upcoming trip.

Keep in mind that until you are checked in your room can be assigned to someone else. Someone else may be enjoying your surprise.

I would do it when you are going out to the parks for the first time, make an excuse and head back to the room and put out the gifts.

I would suggest a gift box from a fellow dis'er! http://www.peggyssweetsandmore.com/
I am using her for my upcoming trip and her creations look absolutely beautiful and every report I have ever heard has been wonderful!!! Just do a search and you will see!
