Hubby has taken up golf the past year, so I was wanting to get him a few golfing things for christmas. I am really not sure what I should get him.
I have seen personalised tees and balls. Should I just get him some good golf balls? help!!!

You can never go wrong buying a golfer a box or two of golf balls. I don't know if DH plays any particular brand or what his skill level is but Titleist make very good products ranging from around $25 (DT SoLo) up around $60 (Pro V1).

Hope this helps you. :)

Balls. Find out what kind he plays or what he would play if money were no object. Even a gift certificate to his favorite course.

How about a season pass to a nearby driving range, so he can practice? Or a gift certificate to a golf store in your area? Tees, balls, golf shirts, shoes, anything like that would be great!
After DH took up golf, I got him a couple of lessons at WDW and he loved that!

I agree with what everyone has said. I also know that there is a "Chicken Soup for the Golfer's Soul" book out there. Golf balls (the bright ones are always good for those "boo-boos"!), you could do a "get out of chores and golf" type of thing for those days when you would really prefer him not to go...something you'd surely regret later. I like the gift certificate for a course or driving range.

DH's favorite golf related gift I ever got him was a golf organizer for the garage. It was $60 (I've seen if for $50) at Bed Bath & Beyond but if you use your 20% off coupon, it's only $48. Anyway, it holds up to 2 golf bags standing up and then there are shelves that hold his shoes and a ton of balls. It keeps him organized and I like it because all his stuff is in one place!

My dad golfs a lot and so over the years my mom has spent a fortune on golf gifts. What type of bag does he have? Does he have one with the stands on it, if not, then he will probably enjoy that. My mom got my dad one of those golf ball picker upper things. I have no clue what they are called, but it is like a stick and he can stick it in bushes or wherever the balls goes and it grabs it without him having to bend down and pick it up. He really liked that. Of course you can get him some club covers if he doesn't have any of those yet. Obviously golf shirts are always a hit. Is there a golf store near you, you can always go in there and look around to see what they have. Practically any golf "supplies" would be great for a golfer. Some are picky about the type of balls they use, so you could casually ask him what type he likes to play with.

Get the standard one, it is longer and more useful. This is one of my favorite things in my bag, much easier to use then the regular ones.

With the school of his choice if available

http://www.tgw.com/main.jsp is a great website for golf stuff.
