I have to come up with a gift for DS's girlfriend. Last year, I got her a cute scarf with coordinating mittens, so I can't do the same gift twice in a row. :)

Any ideas under $35?

Last year when my DS17 was dating his ex-girlfriend, I got her a bunch of little things that I knew she liked and packaged it up in a big ole box. Cute hat (looked like a cat) funky colored socks, EOS chapstick, some of her favorite snacks, hair ties that she always wore, nail polish, etc. She loved it.

what a great idea! I may be stealing this idea for one of the GF's in our family. There are 2 currently. One is getting a mug with her initial on it and a box of tea we bought last month at Disney. The other is getting a teddy bear with a blinged initial of her first name around its neck.

How about a cute pair of earbuds/headphones and an iTunes gift card? I think everyone can use an extra set of earbuds.

I was at the salon this afternoon for a trim, so I picked up a gift certificate to cover a manicure and tip for her.

Thanks for the ideas. :)

I know you already found something, but Ulta is a great store to browse for this sort of thing. Stila lip gloss or Philosophy lotion are nice gifts.

The manicure is a great idea!

An Alex and Ani bracelet...about $28. 2 would be even better as they look nicer when paired.

My go to for girlfriends is bath and body. Prices can range as you want and most teen girls like it. After they have been around a while, I will get a bit more expensive and personal.Second Christmas girlfriend is getting a collage hoodie.

I got my nephew's girlfriend a vintage pair of earrings, a beautiful, red mortar and pestle(she likes to cook) and a pretty(again vintage) barrette for her hair. TTL $50.
Girls like pretty little things.

I asked our granddaughter for gift ideas for her boyfriend and she gave me several, including stocking stuffer ideas.

Assuming she has pierced ears, you can't go wrong with simple, classic earrings. Teens are still into silver -- my own 17-year old says gold is "gaudy".

Scarves (thin, decorative -- not thick for warmth) are all the rage among teen girls, and you don't have to concern yourself with size. If you wanted to do a little more, you can't go wrong with a solid-colored long-sleeved tee paired with a scarf.

A college hoodie sounds like a winner.

I watched a teen gift exchange in a club the other day, and the things that were oohed and aahhed over (and stolen -- it was "dirty Santa" type thing) were a decorative plastic cup/straw filled with M&Ms . . . and a box of silly socks. Not popular: Nail polish (that surprised me), baking goods, candles.

Starbuck's gift cards have pretty much run their course, but movie tickets (or movie gift cards) are still popular.

I like the jewelry idea. A simple/classic necklace or pair of earrings is a nice idea and relatively inexpensive.
