Need gift ideas for a family

Each year I pick a name from the tree at the mall to give gifts to those in need.

My brain is shot now, and I' running on empty. Can someone please help me ou? .

I've picked a family of 4, I have a 4yo girl, and three boys ages 3, 5, 7. I believe they live in a shelter. We are only supposed to spend $10 on each child ($5 pracitcal, $5 fun gift). I don't mind going over.

Any suggestions? Thank you so much!!

Gloves, scarfs, earmuffs/hats, boards games (compact that all the pieces fit inside), coloring books/crayons, backpacks to keep their stuff in, small stuffed animals/dolls.

thanks - loving the backpack idea....I can get those at Target, then hit the dollar store to "fill 'er up". Or maybe even the dollar section at Target.
