I've been crazy with work and my time on The DIS has been not as often as I would like...we leave for "The World" this Saturday (9/27) and I'm not even close to a schedule...need feedback desparately!!! Our crew consists of my wife, 3 kids (a 4 year old and 2 year old twins), my Mom and myself!!!!

We are staying off-site this go around because of a really good hotel rate.

Our itinerary is tentatively scheduled as follows:

Saturday arrival in late PM: DTD
Sunday: Animal Kingdom
Monday: MGM (with lunch at Prime Time Cafe)
Tuesday: Epcot (Dinner with Cindy at GF)
Wednesday: MK
Thursday: Sea World
Friday: Pool day / MNSSHP at night
Saturday: AM Departure

AND I need to get a night in for Spectro and Fantasmic!!

How does this look? Are we hitting the right parks on the right days? I'm open for any suggestions!!! Everyone has been really helpful on "the Boards"...couldn't plan a trip to WDW without it!!!

HELP and thanks for the feedback!!!

HH

I'm not sure if your days are necessarily the best but do be sure to get to the parks when they open and try to leave for a while during the afternoon for a rest or pool time. This is particularly true for the Magic Kingdom. You might want to check on when the Early Entry days are for resort guests and plan to avoid those parks on those days again particularly the Magic Kingdom. Also, check on when Spectro is scheduled because I don't think that they necessarily run it every night.

Here's a link to the Early Entry schedule: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/earlyentry.htm

By the way, do you have hopper passes? Animal Kingdom closes early and shouldn't take you all day anyway so hop to another park later that evening if you have the energy. I love Epcot or the Magic Kingdom at night. There's just a bit more magic in the air if that makes any sense.

Enjoy your trip! :)

I am not an expert but from what I have read on many sites and guidebooks you seem to have picked good days for each park. The Unofficial Guide does warn of possible school group crowds in Epcot during the week but hopefully that isn't the case for you! I wish there were a way to find out the truth about this...

Anyways it doesn't look like Spectro is showing any night you are there except for the Saturdays.

Heading to MGM for Fantasmic might be a good thing after Animal Kingdom closes (at 5). If you get to AK at opening you may not last until park close. This would make a good time to do a break.

Personally I think you would want a break with kids that young but I know being offsite makes it a bit more time consuming.

There have been threads about good ways to take a break without leaving park - ie: quiet cool places to rest and perhaps even have kids sleep.

Also Tuesday you may want a break esp if you plan on dong MK all day on Wednesday. Epcot is wonderful but not always best park for really young kids.
