We are looking for ideas regarding teen & tween dining for Epcot and at wdw resorts. Where do your kids enjoy eating? :thumbsup2

Another ?, I have is that when I was double checking our fantasmic package I found out that our reservation actually had us at separate tables. I was able to correct this thankfully. When I said that I our kids were younger and I didn't want them seated away from us the response of the reservation person was "they are listed as adults." - I have a LeCellier reservation that indicates that our party may be seated at separate tables. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 10-17). Would they split up the kids???
I really don't want the family at separate tables & I really hate the thought of losing a LeCellier ressie.
Any tips on this???

Thanks.:hippie:

My teens love Tepan Edo and Chef's de France in Epcot. As far as resort restaurants, they really enjoy Boma.:thumbsup2

"Your party may be seated at separate tables" is a standard disclaimer on many reservations. It's even been on reservations for 1 or 2 people so don't worry about it. It could happen if you're a very large group , but even then they do their best to seat everyone together or at least adjacent.

If your kids like pizza I would try the new Via Napoli in Italy. The pizza is wonderful as well as their pasta dishes.

I would definitely recommend Tepan Edo and Coral Reef Cafe myself. I love when you get the animated chefs that entertain and cook your meal all at the same time! With Coral Reef Cafe, it has a nice ambiance with the aquarium there. Just my $.02. Have fun! :thumbsup2

Ok, I'm looking at either Teppan Edo or LeCellier for a family Christmas Eve dinner. We have 3 teens/tweens in or family.

Which restaurant would your children prefer??? One daughter is a vegetarian. So I want to make sure that she has plenty of choices as well.

Thanks for your help. :santa:

I will Second teppan edo and coral reef my 16 yr old love them both and she can be a picky eater at times. Also just to let you know we had 7 in our party and the closest we got to being split up was at Coral reef they have these booths in the front that are next to each other but really one table kinda like the big booths at denny's. So we were never broken up. So have fun and enjoy.

Wild animal kingdom, was awesome for the tree of life and all the cool animals you see really close on the safari. Magic kingdom was awesome because that is the place you have dreamed of since you were a kid, the castle and mickey is almost too much happiness for one person to take.

Our favorites with teens and tweens: Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Teppan Edo, and Chef de France.

Have wanted to try San Angel in Mexico and Tutto Ital. in Italy but just don't like the menus for the kids. Would do the restaurant in China but it seems a bit pricey for that type of food.

Enjoy your trip.

We took our kids last when my daughter was 13. We're going again in June and dd will be 15. She's ADAMANT that she wants to go back to Teppan Edo, and would really like to go back to Biergarten. Her other favorite - not at Epcot - is 'Ohana.

It's highly unlikely Le Cellier will split up your family, but you may wind up being squashed around a 4-top table. It's happened to my family of 5. It wasn't so bad when the kids were younger, but now we have 2 teens and a 9 yr. old, it's really uncomfortable. You can ask for a larger table, but be prepared for a long wait.

My kids' favorites at EPCOT are Coral Reef, Teppan Edo, and Biergarten.

Most teens I know are bottomless pits. I'd go for Biergarten since it's all you can eat.

DS's only requests for our next trip are Teppan Edo and Le Cellier.

My 2 teenage boys (the oldest is 18 tomorrow :scared1: and the other 16) LOVE Le Cellier and Tutto Italia. For a resort meal. Yachtman's Steakhouse is my oldest's favorite, hands down. We ate there for his 16th birthday. Very special!

We are a family of 5 as well and have never been separated anywhere, even though the disclaimer is there at the time of the reservation. I wouldn't worry about it.

Enjoy!
