Two days ago, at 60 days out for a 7 day on-site trip, I was completely shut out from getting fast passes for Slinky or Flight of Passage. In another post, someone said that those are showing as available while I'm there on someone's website.

I realize that my original 3 fast passes must all be at the same park. On the Disney website, how do I even look for fast pass availability when I already have 3 booked in a different park. For example, I currently have 3 fast passes booked for Epcot on Friday, Dec. 6. To look at available Animal Kingdom fast passes on that same day, do I need to cancel all 3 at Epcot? When I go to modify them for Friday Dec 6, it only shows me available fast passes at Epcot, the park I currently have them booked at. Thanks!

Just go through the process of making FP's like you normally would but select the new park. It will give you a warning but just proceed through it. You will only lose your current FP's if you select a new FP at the 2nd park (there will be another warning though).

Yes, this would be the best way. Do not use a third party site like Touring Plans. They have no way to know what's actually available moment by moment, so it's wildly inaccurate.

I must be doing this wrong. My frustration level is through the roof because I feel like I've blown this trip!! You say to proceed through the warnings. I cannot proceed through the warnings I get. It says I already have 3 fast passes, and asks if I want to remove someone from my party. What am I doing wrong?

If it is a day that you already have FP's there should be a warning that says "Made Plans in Another Park" with a paragraph there. It then gives you an option to either Keep Guest or Remove Guest From Party. Choose to Keep Guest for each guest. If you are looking at the same park that you are already in you will need to modify. If you are trying to look for a day that you are not currently booked for and have maxed out your FP days then you won't be able to check those other days.

Keep going past that. Keep all in your party.

The Dibb IS accurate.

How? They have no special access to know what's available, unless they have some arrangement I"m not aware of? FP+ availability literally changes second to second, so curious how they'd know.

I’ve never bothered to find out how. I just know that it is. I consult it before every FP day.

They’re not live to the second; day of availability is not what they’re useful for. The Dibb and Touring Plans both check availability for far out days once per day, a few hours before the FP window opens. It is very unusual for there to be meaningful changes to FP inventory for say 60+5 at 4AM. They both have a litany of disclaimers if you go to their sites, and those disclaimers are worth understanding if you’re going to use them, but they’re still useful as a tool.
