Need eye glasses while at Disney- help

Hi there!
My husband has woken up with pink eye and didn’t pack his glasses (contacts need to come out). Any tips for closest eye center open on a Sunday for him to Uber to?! Thank you!!

I don't think any optometrist will touch him with pink eye. Walmart or Target would be the cheapest if he has his script. Call your eye doctor and get the prescription . Only down side is ideally it takes awhile for glasses since they get sent out to be cut. Unless he can be ok with reading glasses. Can no one from home 1 day ship them to him?

LensCrafters can do most glasses in about an hour, exceptions include things like progressive lenses. Here is a link to their find a store - the WDW zip is 32830, it shows a couple of stores within 10 miles, open Sundays at 9am. As noted above, you’d need the prescription. They also have optometrists in most locations if that is also needed.

Pink eye is very contagious, so I would not have your husband going anywhere without calling first. A doctor will see him but no way will an eyeglass place like Lenscrafters want to work with a customer with pink eye. Since he should not be out with people, I would also suggest having someone fedEx his eyeglasses from home if possible.

My son knocked my daughter's glasses off on BTMRR two years ago. We used a LensCrafters but I don't recall which one. Had glasses with exam (because her prescription had just expired) in three hours.

Probably the best idea. Get his eye treated ASAP and fed ex glasses from home with 24 hr delivery will probably be cheaper than buying a new pair.
