I was wondering if the whole family needed to be at the hotel for check in, or if I could check us in while the wife does....whatever it is she does at stores (I just know it takes a long, long....LONG time  )

I'd like to pick up our room keys while she browses if at all possible. Then they can run me a tab at the pool bar 'til she's "done" (temporarily of course).

Thanks,

Pax

The only person that needs to be present at check-in is the person paying. That person will be asked the names of the people staying in the room so that they can issue a room key for each person.

I usally go over to the Orchid Lounge get a cold one and grab a commfy seat while DW checks-in!!

A lot of commfy chairs in the RPH entry way. The wife, and anyone else with us, will sit in the chairs near luggage storage, while I do the check-in. This is also where we wait for the towncar after check-out.
