I am planning our end of August trip and don't have a good plan for one of our lunches. I am trying to plan so we go to a park in the AM, go back to the resort for a break and then go out again late afternoon/early evening. We will be spending a morning in Epcot's Future World (going to World Showcase on two other evenings). I'm not excited about our lunch options. We have eaten at Sunshine Seasons and it was good, but nothing we need to go back to. I know we could go to WS, but since it's going to be August I'm trying to cut down on the walking. Any ideas? I also wouldn't mind trying somewhere we could get to on the monorail (staying at the Poly so already eating there). TIA!

If you're not stoked about Sunshine Seasons I would suggest maybe going back to your resort for lunch. The only other real options in Future World are Electric Umbrella which would be burgers and the like, or the gourmet hot dogs by Test Track.

Honestly, I would stay at Epcot if you are willing to leave on a monorail and take all that time to do so. At that point, I would just stay and eat at WS. Lotus Blossom is good. If you are wanting to monorail, as another poster said, Contempo Cafe is good

I'd tend to agree that quick service in Future World isn't very strong. If not in a hurry I've/we've been known to go back to Magic Kingdom just for lunch. Otherwise, I'd probably go back into WS and go to either QS at Mexico or Yorkshire Fish and Chips in England, neither of which is too far into WS.

OOOOHHH....I forgot about Taste Trak. They don't sell HOT DOGS, they have yummy sounding GOURMET GRILL CHEESE. Check them out:

Electric Umbrella isn't bad. As a PP mentioned, their salads are pretty good. You could also take the boat over to Morocco in WS and eat at their QS which is very good and that would save a little on walking.

If EP QS doesn't appeal, why not do Capt. Cook's or the new grill by the quiet pool at Poly? Gasparilla's at GF is good too.

We like burgers, so we have eaten at Electric Umbrella a couple times and have always been pleased.

Thanks for all of the replies! I was a bit scared to try Electric Umbrella based on some negative reviews, but may give it a shot. QS at the Mexican Pavilion is another good option, as we do like Mexican food. Thanks again!
