Need DVC info, pleasssee

Can you point me in the right direction for more information on DVC?
Been lurking around here since we came back from a quick trip this summer.... Always liked the idea of DVC..thought it was too expensive for us...Found that isn't really the case, but still had DH to "deal" with. I just assumed he'd roll his eyes if I even mentioned purchasing points...
Long story short.. we happened to have a conversation about timeshares with the neighbors last night and he mentioned that the ONLY place he would consider was that "disney thing"........
So I'd like to know where to gather more information about it so we can determine if it really would work for us.

We currently visit DW every 3 years or so, but we both would like to move it up to every other year - at least. We have found from the trips we've made that there is alot more than the parks for fun. We have 3 boys ages 21,17, and 3 who all enjoy DW as well.

I'd appreciate any and all info you all can pass on.
