I noticed Mal's post about having to do 20 searches now instead of 12. When I went to the Disney Awards site, it still reads that you need 12 searches. I've been having trouble getting credit for these searches because when I submit my email address, they seem to go to the wrong inbox for Kris. I have tried to refresh this page, but it still reads 12 searches required. Any ideas on what I should do? Refreshing the page doesn't seem to do it. I don't have any problems with visiting sites, trivia or bonus sites. TIA!

This is what mine says. Maybe if you delete your cookies you will see this.

"You must complete 20 separate searches and submit your email when you are done. You will receive an entry for completing this page. Entries for sites submitted will be awarded only if we do not already have that site posted here, and only when we DO decide to post them here. You must use all search engines to complete your searches. After you have completed all 20 searches, subit your email for your entry."

I definitely don't have on my screen what you have. I just don't understand why the other 3 pages are fine but this page isn't?? Could someone talk me through how to clear cookies? Someone gave me the following directions once, but it doesn't seem to work. Here is what I have as directions.

Under the C:/ drive you should have a WINN or WINNT with a + in front of it. Click on that and it should show you all the files under WINN. One of them will be called COOKIES and another will be called TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES. Click the mouse on both of those (one at a time) and highlight the cookies and delete. DO NOT DELETE any file with the Windows symbol. It would usually warn you but look for those.

I can't find the WINN or WINNT under the C drive. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using Internet Explorer? If so right click your start button. Then click explore , next you will see a long list of folders, find the windows folder. If it has a + sign beside it, click it, then scroll down until you see a folder named cookies click on that and open it. You will see all of your cookies and then can delete them.

You can also clean out your temporary internet files the same way, except look for the temp internet file folder instead of the cookies folder.

on your desktop there should be an icon for IE a big red E right click on this icon then left click on properties-under temporary internet files left click on setting-then view files-Edit then select all-File-Delete then close out of that disconnect from the internet if using dial-up and restart your computer you should be good to go.

Who said these reward programs aren't educational!! I've learned more today about cookies and temporary internet files than I've learned in a looong time. I was so excited to finally see the updated search page at the disney awards website. Thanks so much to you all. Clear sailing now!! :) :D
