We check in on Sat and my husband's work just told him he can't have off. Of course the kids and I are going to still go, can I get a refund for his portion at this point? TIA

Room reservation with dining plan(free dining) and park tickets. So really only tickets I need refunded - 4 day tickets

to my knowledge park tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable but can still be used up to either 1 or 2 years from purchase. so, not a total loss - can be used next trip.

someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I thought the package tickets had to used within a week of the first day. Is that not the case?

No, only tickets that are actually used have an expiration. If your DH's tickets are never activated, they will be good until he does. You can save them for a future trip.

The dining plan is the interesting point of your situation. I believe you will still be able to use his credits, but I'm not 100% certain. Since he will never check in to the resort, that might make a difference. Hopefully, someone will come along with knowledge of what happens in this case.

thanks. I want to be aware of past practices before I call. Sometime they don't know and make up answers!

You can call and have him removed from the reservation as long as you are the primary party on the reservation. They'll charge you $50 to change the package so close to the arrival date. You'll save the cost of the ticket, only, less the $50.

The other option is to keep him on the reservation and keep his ticket to be used later. They probably won't notice that he's not there and you would have his extra dining credits to use.

Any chance he could get there later in the week? If so, keep him on the reservation. Sorry he can't go, that's a bummer.

I'm interested in this too, as we have a package booked for January but my mom still doesn't know when her radiation is going to start and finish.... they are talking December but we're worried it will be into January.
