Follow the Beeline (528) all the way to Orlando and it runs into I-4. There is an exit for North I-4 and the other lanes run into the southbound lanes (where you want to go) (Approximately 50 miles) Head south less than 5 miles and turn off at the Epcot exit (#26 - I think... they are renumbering all the exits and I think both the old and new are still listed)
Note: A few weeks ago, there was a explosion/fire on the overpass where 528 joined southbound I-4 and for a while it was closed and you had to detour to International Drive (Sea World exit) and go south where it joins 536 (Central Florida Greenway) and runs west through the Epcot exit off I-4. I think they have one lane open now, but I'm not sure... originally they were estimating it would be completely closed for a few months....
Good morning.
If you are going from the Radisson - please know there is a tourist center EXALTY one mile south on A1A from the Radisson that has all the information you would need - Mr. Varney would be more than glad to help including maps, pamplets etc -
They have a BIG sign and it is located on the West side of A1A. You can not miss it ok.
Always
Shirley
A clarification on the directions that Huey gave...
even though I-4 is North-South through Orlando, it's officially an East-West highway and the ramps will be marked as East and West. If you want to go South, you need the West ramps. If you want to go North, you need the East ramps.
Sorry about that! I just jump on the beeline and my car is on autopilot... I pulled out my Orlando atlas to check the exit numbers and didn't remember how it was designated on the signs... I don't pay attention to the signs now! Should have said 'go left!'
