Need direction: unpleasant topic

Thank you to everyone who responded and ((hugs)) to those of you that sent me pm's. You all have helped me through a very difficult day. The quick update is, she went to see a counsellor who talked to the girls for about 90 minutes and were told to come back anytime. She seems to be handling things well right now, talking about it and being reassured like crazy that this isn't her fault! And that we love her no matter what! We have a plan for the next little while and will just take things one step at a time.

I'd like to take this chance and reiterate something I've seen written many times but have now experienced myself. This is a wonderful, supportive community and I'm blown away by how you all came together for me when I needed support.
