My Mom is not an adventurous eater. She isn't into African, Sushi or Character Meals. I want to do Dinner for her on her Birthday (May 6th) as part of our WDW trip. I've got a couple of ideas such as Morimoto's Asia (Has a limited sushi menu and loves the Chinese place in my hometown) or Biergarten (enjoyed it back in 2011 trip for a day). What are some good ideas for sit down meals that are around $50 a person (Appetizer or Desert and Entree)? It can be inside the park or outside the park.

Any buffet on property (except Boma) and most restaurants outside Epcot or AKL will be about as bland and unadventurous as you can get. As long as you avoid the most expensive entrees at the signatures, you should have no problem finding meals for $50/PP ( but check the sticky on the Restaurants front page for buffet and AYCTE dinner prices.). She can always ask for her meat to be served plain or with the sauce on the side and ask for plain steamed vegetables.

You can find menus for every restaurant here: http://allears.net/dining/menu

Ohana is one of my non adventurous family's favorites and we love the atmosphere of the Polynesian. Other favorites are Via Napoli, Cape May (for crab legs), and we have been wanting to try BOG. I agree you should check the menus and see what she might like.

How about Trails End? Very homey and simple, but delicious (and easy on the wallet!) the boat ride over from MK is fun, too.
