My 18 y.o. sister is a wonderful human being but a horrible eater. Our eating bugdet for this trip is very low as all she really eats are hamburgers, pizza, and plain grilled chicken. I would like to take her to a nice, sit down meal as a treat though. Here is my dilemma - all the restaurants I really like and enjoy such as CG I don't think she would like. She is picky and I mean picky - no sauce on her grilled chicken or steaks, likes potatoes but few veggies, no fish, etc. If forced to try something new, there is a small chance she will like it, but probably not and I don't want to pay a lot of money for something she won't enjoy.
I orginally made an dinner ADR for Boma figuring I can't go wrong with lots of meat and the set price but am now reconsidering. She likes shrimp but doesn't like the peel and eat kind, I don't think she likes scalloped potatoes and she definitely does not like bread pudding. She does like steak so I though of Le Cieller, but although the food is great the decor is very similar to a restaurant she like to go to at home.
I would like something where the decor is different, the environment is Disney, and there is a selection of food she may actually eat. I should mention that she hasn't been to WDW in over a decade and this is going to be our girls only sister weekend as I am moving to another state in spring. I really want this to be a special time for the two of us and especially for her. Coral Reef keeps coming to mind since they have steak and a lovely view but I keep second guessing and feel totally lost.
Does anybody have any suggestions for a picky teenager?
Thanks!
Kat
