Need Digital Camera Printer Dock Paper Advice

I thought I would ask the digital camera experts......

I want to buy some paper for my Kodak Printer Dock at Sam's Club. There are 3 different types.

1, which I know would work is the Kodak paper but of course this is the most expensive. 120 sheets for ~ $18.

2, ~250 sheets for ~$25

3. Another type which I forget how many and how much but cheaper then the Kodak.

So my question is, would any 4 x 6 photo paper work in a Kodak printer dock?

Any paper will work but for best results you should use the Kodak paper. Ink and paper are designed to work together. If you use some other paper the ink may not dry or spread out the way it is supposed to.

Also you need to be concerned with the archival life of your prints. Aftermarket papers don't have the same long archival life that the name brand papers do.

You may save a few cents today and when your pictures fade several years down the road you will be sorry.

I have been getting my ink and paper in the packette together - there is only enuff ink to print the paper you get with it. Everytime the kodak printer makes a print, the cart is *advanced* so it really only prints 40 pictures.....

except if it gets turned off and turned on, then it advances - in my case - I have more paper then ink now and kodak has informed me they do not sell it without the paper

so go to bestbuy order two 40 packs of paper and ink carts to take advantage of the free shipping.

If anyone has found just the ink cart for sale and think I am wrong, my mis information came from kodak people themselves and I WOULD LOVE to know where to buy just the ink carts for the kodak easyshare printer dock!
