We are doing our DCA day (non hopper, 1 day only) on Sat Oct 4th, no emh. Gaydays= super busy weekend. My first instinct is to head straight to RSR doing wide right but I know we won't be at the gates super early so we'll be further back in the line.

So should we get in line for RSR fastpasses? Head to TSMM or try to get on RSR first thing?

I had heard that TSMM lines in the AM are really short and its sometimes possible to ride it multiple times but I am thinking that was only true on EMH mornings.

Can anyone clarify about TSMM or give advice on which to do first?? So confused:confused3 I really want to set us up for a successful morning/day.

Note/question.... we have a 7 year old in our group and wanted to try single rider RSR for a second ride later in the day but not sure what the age is to be able to do single rider???

Many thanks!

I have been there and done that with wide right. It is just too much for me.
I prefer to go to TSMM first and grab an RSR FP later. On Saturday, MM/EMH will be at DL, so TSMM at opening should be a walk on practically. The only thing that could throw a wrench in this plan is if TSMM is not up an running right at opening.
Single Rider is for 7 and up, so you will be good to go for the SR line.

Since the EMH is at DL that day so it is possible to be one of the first in the park. Get there 45 minutes early and line up at the gates. I don't know how big your group is, but if I were you, I'd have one person (the fastest walker in your group) hold all the tickets and line up on the left side of the rope drop to get RSR FP right at opening. They have cast members helping with the FP that early so it goes quickly and your return time will probably be around 10. (Just guessing).

Then the rest of the group should line up on the right side and could head straight to TSMM and ride it once or twice. It's possible for the FP runner to actually catch up to them before the ride if they walk fast. If not, catch them for the second ride.

I would also recommend watching the return time for RSR so you can pick up a second set of FP's to go on the ride when it's dark. It's a great ride any time, but we love it at night.

As PP said, you could just wait to get FP's too. They are usually still available at least 2 hours after opening and sometimes much later than that. I have called Otto to keep tabs on it so I don't have to keep walking back and forth. (714) 520-7090

Thanks for the advice. Still not sure. I don't think anyone would want to be the fastpass runner and miss out on TSMM. And I know we won't be there 45 minutes before opening as we will be out late at MHP the night before so I'm thinking we'll A) Head to TSMM and get fastpasses after or B) Head straight over to get in the fastpass line right away.

I don't really want to do wide right technique knowing we'll start way back in the line already.

Thanks for all the ideas.
