Need Confirmation on FastPass Booking Window TIME

Hi there. My fastpass+ booking window opens on September 29th. Many fan sites have stated that Disney changed the time of day you can start booking to 7:00AM EST. But, when I've called Disney on two separate occasions (within the last day or so) and spoke with two separate cast members, both told me the booking window opens at midnight (which was the case for me last year). When I asked one cast member about some info floating around that said 7:00AM, she gave me an odd answer about some attractions possibly having a 7:00AM booking window, but the majority have a midnight start time.

Has anyone been able to confirm with Disney that 7:00AM is the actual start time? Disney has nothing on their website, which is frustrating. When I spoke with these particular cast members, I was calling about adding a flight to magic express so maybe they just don't have the right info if they're not in the "fastpass+" department?

The CMs are poorly trained. It is 7AM.

I actually JUST got an email back from Disney (I had written to them asking the same question):


Fastpass+ selection can now start being made at 7 am EST. This way the My Magic+ team is here to assist if you need assistance.

It was changed to 7am EDT in May.

Typical CM's not knowing up-to-date info.

No need to confirm with Disney about it.
It's been confirmed time and time again when people come on here about 12:30am EDT watning to know why they can't book their FP+ yet.

Not to mention that I myself have booked FP+ since the time change and at 6:58am EDT I could do nothing. at 7am EDT I could.

Inexcusable for every single CM answering the phone to know this very basic of questions.
I get they can't know everything but there are a few things that every one of them should know and this is one of them.

Yep, I kinda thought the same thing! Its a pretty basic question. My only assumption is that the majority of guests do not make FP+ as soon as they open so they don't get this question as much as questions about ADR's.

Really doesn't matter how often they are asked.

All it takes is a list of 2 items that every CM who answers a phone knows
1. What time can I make ADR
2. What time can I make FP
