I am trying to decide between these two for our character breakfast this trip. I have searched on both but need to know the foods served at Donald's Breakfast in the AK. We have been to Chef Mickey's before.

Does Donald's have Mickey waffles or pancakes? Is it as large as Chef Mickey's?

Any and all info would be great....... thanks!

Donald's is NOT as big as Chef Mickey's.

We have not done the breakfast at Chef Mickey's. We always do dinner. It is wonderful!

On our first trip we did Donald's and we liked it but we were a little disappointed that Donald never came by. We had to track him down. The food was good so we did not complain. With that all being said we did not go there last year. My DS was VERY upset with me that I did get PS for this place last year. I must say that I DID get PS for breakfast this year so that DS will be happy.

Hope this helps a little. Hope it is as clear as dirty water. NO really, I hope this helps you some.

(Oh My Gosh! That is just around the corner.) YEAH!!!!!

Does anyone have the stats on this? Breakfastasaurus seemed much bigger to me than Chef Mickey's. If not, I have to wonder why we also had to track down characters at DB, and saw the CM characters twice.

Sorry to hear you had the same problem with the characters.
Glad to know it was not just us.
We were thinking maybe they did not like those people from Texas.

Have not been to Donald's (hope to this trip) so I cannot compare but I can tell you that Chef Mickey's breakfast is AWESOME!!!!! It's actually our second favorite meal in all of Disney (Crystal Palace bfast is first). We have been there over 10 times and never, ever had a negative experience.

We had gone to Chef Mickeys in 98, 00, and 01. Last year we wanted to try Donalds, thinking the theming would be great for DSs(then 5 1/2 & 2 1/2...big into dinosaurs).
Well, we are definitely going back to Mickeys this year and probably not Doanlds again. We found Mickeys to be very laid back and fun. Also loved the food...plain breakfast pizza is a big hit with my picky DS(and me too). At Donalds we were continuously yelled at by our waiter, had to leave the buffet (after getting 1 or 2 items) to get back to our table for the characters, and felt incredibly pressured. We couldnt wait to get out of there...didnt even get our picture taken. I will say the food was good, but after seeing the pizza on the menu, I was expecting the same as what they have at Mickeys...but it was covered with green & red stuff(peppers I assume?). So we were a little disappointed in that. And feeling so rushed we couldnt really look into everything. I totally missed the omlettes and Im not sure if they have waffles or not.

We have not had breakfast at CM's but we did go to Donald's and I probably would not go back. We had an early PS(8:10)--our experience was VERY rushed. Hurry up-get a biscuit or a doughnut so you don't miss the characters. The characters were in such a hurry they were literally bumping into each other trying to get to all the tables. There is a lot of food on the buffet but we felt so rushed that I never even went through the buffet line. What we did eat was really good and the CM was wonderful but the overall experience was not very good. The characters only came by once--all the other character meals we did, the characters came by 3 or 4 times.
