Hi,

I am going to Disneyland in October and need a CHEAP, but clean place to stay for two nights that is within walking distance to disneyland (walking distance meaning across the street or 1-2 blocks away).

Can anyone recommend some place really inexpensive and clean?? I remember staying somewhere years ago that was fine and it was right next door or across the street and can't remember where it was (Quality Inn, Days Inn???).

Thank you for your help!

ALSO - if you know where I can get a buy 1 get 1 or a discount on 2-day park hoppers I would appreciate it very much :-)

XOXO
Deb

We are going to be staying at Anaheim Plaza. I have never been to Disneyland but it was recommended to me here. I got it for 450 for 6 nights!

I second the Anaheim Plaza. Whenever someone uses the words "budget and clean" that's the first place I think of.

For grins and giggles try the Alpine Inn. Check online rates first, then call the motel directly. :surfweb:

Another vote for Anaheim Plaza. It's not "luxurious" or anything, but it's walking distance (about 10 minutes from hotel to Park entrance) & has a HUUUUUGE pool! I've stayed there many a time, it's an older hotel but I've always found it to be clean, comfortable (for a "budget" hotel...the beds weren't the best but the rooms are big & have a fridge & microwave), and safe.

Have fun on your trip!!!

The Alpine Inn is a good suggestion, too. Not as close as Anaheim Plaza, but about the same price. And the fake "snow" on the roof is kitschy fun!

Desert Inn and Suites they are great!! good value for dollar, close, clean and very kind Staff.

Thank you, everyone, for your recommendations - I will definitely check them out and make my booking this weekend. I so appreciate your help!! XOXO Deb:cool1:

PArk Vue Inn is sometimes inexpensive and it's right across the street!

we have the apline inn scheduled for 2 nights this month. We got Sunday night for $55 and Monday night for $65. The reviews looked good on Tripadvisor. We are hoping there is an entrance into the southern most parking lot (found one on google earth maps) that we can walk through and catch a shuttle. good luck!!

Try the Hotel Menage....Its on the corner of Ball and Harbor, its not super fancy, but it has a nice pool, and pretty nice rooms. I stayed there last year after a class reunion we had in DT Disney, I think my room was like $60. on a Sat...cant really beat that.

Tropicana has smallish rooms but it is clean and popular.
If you can get the fairfield or Carousel rear rooms on a special rate they are much better quality...but Tropicana meets the clean and close bill.

The south entrance is no longer.:sad2: It 'was' nice to catch the parking shuttle to the main entrance. Oh well.

We've done Desert Inn, HOJO and Anaheim Plaza and not had any real issues with any of them. HOJO is my fav by far as long as I can get the entertainment card rate.

Then we usually go with Desert Inn due to proximity.

Anaheim Plaza is our third choice since they charge for parking even though it is only $4.
