Need CA Traffic Advice

We will be coming home Monday, June 11th - driving home from Disneyland to Phoenix. So - all you experts out there - when is the best time to drive, and what times do we absolutely want to avoid. I have never been stuck in CA traffic for a great deal of time - and would like to not make this a first on this trip!!! Thanks!!!

What freeways are you taking? Usually anytime between 10-2 is an opportune time to get out of the area. Rush hour can vary and can start as early as 3pm.

Scooter is right...if you can't get out by 3pm, you might want to wait til after 7pm to start your trip home.

I live in arizona too..and I ususally find if I leave super late in the day like the others said..around 7 or later in the evening, and often times when I am on my way to DL, I leave Phoenix area around 10am..and I usually never hit traffic on my way in.
