Hi. I was looking for the best way to get around during my stay. I'm fine with my days in the parks, but need some advice on the quickest way to get around on our days off. We will be arriving (at ASMo) on a Sunday around 3:00 I'm guessing, and we have ps at CM's at 6:40. We were hoping to walk around DD or the BW for awhile, it doesn't matter if we go before or after eating, but we are traveling with our son who will be 21 months old at the time. On our other day off, we just want to take it easy and go around the resorts, back to DD or the BW, or whatever we feel like, but we dont want to spend the majority or our time waiting for buses/monorails... especially with our son. Oh, and we have a 7:20 ps at Ohana that night. Lastly, we have a ps at BC for Goofy's character breakfast at 10:30 on the day we leave, and will need to be back at ASMo by 1:00 to catch our ride. I know they have bus schedules up, but they don't tell me about how long it takes to get anywhere, or the quickest/most efficient route. We would also love to take our son on a ferry/boat but aren't sure where the stops are. Thanks for reading all this, and for any suggestions! :moped:

After you check in, you can take the bus to DTD. Get off at the first stop (there are two stopsat DTD). It will take about 15 minutes of driving time plus up to 30 minutes waiting if you just missed the bus. Be at the DTD bus stop at 6PM and catch the CR bus. To get back to AS, if MK is still open, you can walk (or take the monorail) to MK and take the bus from there. If the MK is not open, you will need to either take a bus to MGM and transfer to the AS bus or take the monorail to the TTC and then the monorail to Epcot and catch the bus from there (longer bus nicer ride)

On our other day off, we just want to take it easy and go around the resorts, back to DD or the BW, or whatever we feel like, but we dont want to spend the majority or our time waiting for buses/monorails... especially with our son. Oh, and we have a 7:20 ps at Ohana that night.

You can't go from resort to resort using Disney transportation (unless the resorts are on the monorail loop are are part of the Epcot resorts). So as a suggestion (all times are travel times include wait time), you can take the AS bus to MGM (30 minutes)and take the boat to the BW area (30 minutes). YOu can walk to all the reosrts or take the boat(5-10 minutes). When you are done take the DTD bus from any of the resorts (30 minutes). When you are done there, take any of the monorail resort busses to that resort (30-40 minutes). You can visit all the monorail resorts using the monorail (10-15 minutes). The resort monorail loop takes about 25 minutes.

Lastly, we have a ps at BC for Goofy's character breakfast at 10:30 on the day we leave, and will need to be back at ASMo by 1:00 to catch our ride.

This is going to be the tough one. YOu can follow the previous suggestion (AS to MGM and boat to BC) (Plan on an hour). but the return might be tight. YOu might want to take a cab from BC to AS since the breakfast will take at least an hour.

...We would also love to take our son on a ferry/boat but aren't sure where the stops are. Thanks for reading all this, and for any suggestions!

The Epcot resort boats go from MGM to S/D,YC/BC, BWI, Epcot and then reverse. The route takes 35-35 (plus wait time) minutes depending on how many passengers get on, get off.

The ferry boat at MK goes between the TTC and MK and takes 15 minutes plus as much as 30 minute wait time if there is only one boat running.

I agree with the previous poster that your character breakfast at 10:30am at the Beach Club is going to make it tough to get back to your hotel by 1:00. You will first need to check out of your hotel. If you use express check out there is nothing to do as they will leave the final bill in an envelope on your door that morning. You will still need to check your bags since you won't want to drag them around with you. As suggested, take a bus to the Studios and the boat over to the Beach Club. I would suggest you leave your hotel by 9:00am to head over to the Studios. Even if you get seated at 10:30am it's going to be tight getting back to your hotel using Disney transportation. The easiest and fastest way back to your hotel is to just walk out the main entrance of the Beach Club after breakfast. There will be a Cast Member at a podium. He/she will get you a taxi. They are normally waiting at all Disney resorts, but if not they will get one for you really fast. Doing this will relieve you of any stress about missing your ride back to the airport. Just relax and have a great breakfast.
Enjoy your trip! :sunny: :flower:

Thanks for the tips! I'm still debating the character breakfast... We're not morning people, but we want to get in one last Disney fix before we go :confused3 !
