Need Birthday Party Help!

My DS will be 6, he is doing Kindergarten at his daycare. He wants to have his birthday party at school. It is fine with the teachers, the party will be at the end of the day. One of his friends did this last year.

He wants to have SpongeBob or face painting/balloon making. The one place I called wanted $399 for a magic show & balloon making. To have SpongeBob was $179. I don't want to spend $399.

I live in Bergen County New Jersey. Does anyone know of any company that does Birthday Parties or any ideas. I looked online and the phone book and really can't find anything.

I need help!!!!!!!!! I wish he would just do a bowling party like everyone else, at least I won't have to worry about anyone not RSVP like last year.

I would go along with a Spongebob theme.
The things that might not work with the face painting is that some kids might get an allergic reaction with the paint so check before and also see if it is ok with the parents that their child gets painted-some might not be ok with it.
As for the balloons, yes it sounds like a fun thing, but if the kids are riding the bus, or even once they leave the classroom, other kids may try to steal the balloons.
If you do a Spongebob theme, then you can do in class activities associated with Spongebob.

Thanks for the help. I was thinking the SpongeBob theme also. I can just picture the balloons breaking 5 minutes after it is made.
