Need AP help

Let me see if I can word this properly. I've heard that you can buy discounted tickets (from undercover tourist or ticketmania) and then convert them to AP's for their full price. My question is - can I convert them for the full price and use the DVC AP discount? Also, if I do this when we arrive how can I go about getting the DDE card?

My understanding is that you can upgrade any MYW ticket to a DVC-discounted AP or PAP (provided you have the proper ID). Several who post here hae done so.

If you are asking if you pay the difference between the discounted AP/PAP and a full price MYW ticket if you are trading in a discounted ticket, I'm quite sure the answer is no. Disney knows the price that you paid (it's encoded onto the magnetic strip) and will not give you credit for more than you paid.
