Need "anticipation" ideas for kids 9,8,6

Our next trip is in June. I like to send the kids card "from Disney" every month or so. In Feb I sent stickers in the cards to put on every 10th day on their calendars. In March I sent the pieces to make paper chains. I plan to send Journals in May, but I need something to send in April yet. Any great ideas?????

I always go to Lowes and get the Mickey shaped paint chips. I do a count down with the chips. I tape them to the wall and write 30, 29, 28, 27, etc, on them. Te kids take on down every day and when they are all down. . . .DISNEYWORLD!!! We have been 47 times and they still love taking the paint chips down!

Have them receive a phone call from Mickey or a princess www.disneyprincess.com It's $2.49 a call. I plan to give my kids each a "Goodnight" call the night before we leave - DS from Mickey and DD from Aurora. Check out the website for your calling options and enjoy your trip!

We also plan to order a basket to have waiting in our room from www.peggyssweetandmore.com She is also on the DIS boards -Feralpeg is her DIS name. She will customize a basket for you if you are staying on-site at Disney. In the basket I'm including snacks, and the all-important autograph books for the kids!

I made a paper chain with my niece. She decorated the links and then took one off every day. She got a kick out of how long the chain was to start.

How about some Disney Dollars so they can look forward to buying some souveniers?

You could make up Disney Trivia cards and they have to answer questions or find clues and when they get to the end after reviewing all the clues they figure out the spot Tink left a little gift for them at home.
