Need answer to crowd question

My kids and I are visiting Disneyland March 18, 2012 through March 22 and were hoping to get some input on how crowded it might be. We visited in March 2003 and it wasn't too bad, but I know things change.

I've heard weekdays are less crowded, but with so many being on spring break, I'm not sure. Does anyone know what the crowds will be like during this week? Also, does anyone know when spring break is for California public schools? Thank you for any help.

It will be crowded and I would definitely avoid weekends if you can.

In 2003 Easter was 4/20. Well away from March. This year you are a lot closer to Easter than then. According to a CM, Spring break at the DLR is roughly a 6 week event. 4 before and 2 after. Be grateful you aren't going the next week or 2 after your visit.

It will be crowded, but shouldn't be crazy. Tues-Thurs that week will be your least crowded with your first day (Sunday) being the most crowded. As far a Spring Break for schools go the vast majority of California schools (K-12) are on break the week before or the week after Easter, including the large local districts of Orange County and and LA Unified. It's the same for Nevada as well. Most of Arizona K-12 is on break the week you are there.

Forgot to mention that you also have the advantage of a 5 day stay, which means you will be able to accomplish everything you want. Just remember to pick-up fast passes everywhere you can. Pick-up your next fast-pass as soon as available (end of the return time window or 2 hours, which ever comes first) before using your current one.

Most of Arizona and Utah will be on spring break the week of March 12th (the week before). We will be there with our grandkids from AZ on the 12th-13th of March.
It shouldn't be too bad.
