DH and I will be celebrating our 4th anniversay in a few weeks - we were in WDW for our honeymoon and have been able to visit on our about on anniversay every year since :-). This year, like last, we are lucky enough to actually be in WDW on our actual anniversary - and I would like to come up with a nice gift idea for him.

Last year, I got him an IPOD and we went to dinner at Cape May that night, which was a disaster b/c our dd(14months then) was in a MISERABLE mood! (I actually think we had PS somewhere else but did Cape May at the last mintue bc we figured a buffet would be instant food and less waiting for her- it didn't matter - I spent most of the meal walkign her in the lobby so she didn't spoil the whole restaurants evening!!) I was initially thinking of booking him a massage at the spa at the dolphin (we were be there the night of our anniversary), but luckily I put out a feeler and he is not really interested. He would LOVE dinner at Shulas - we did that for father's day in 2005 - but again, I just don't think think DD would cooperate as much as we'd like (she's now 2 and definately a "typical" 2 year old in that respect.)

There is no real "THING" he would want - so I was thinking of some sort of experience maybe - but we are so limited with DD and the fact that I'm pregnant (actually, DD is only 1/2 the reason I don't want to make big dinner plans. I'll be 24 weeks pg when we are there and still haven't been brave enough this pg to step foot in a restaurant - too many sights, smells, etc - I haven't been out to eat since before Christmas!!! I'm sure I'll manage on vacation - but I wouldn't want to plan an event where I am strapped to a table for 2 hours - even if it is for an awesome filet.) So, if it wasn't for that, I'd get a babysitter and we'd hit Shulas.

My other idea was to get a babysitter and us spend a day at a park - but honestly, since I can't ride much that DD can't ride anyway, that would be a waste - but if I wasn't PG, he would LOVE that - and would be so impressed that I got the sitter since I sometimes think he thinks I still have the cord attached to DD!!

So... I need ideas! What to do for Dh for our anniversary with a sweet but can turn on you in an instant 2 year old and a 24 week pregnant wife who can't eat?? Maybe I should just go buy him a pair of cufflinks! :-)

P.S. The other reason that I wanted to come up with something down there is b/c not only do I have Father's Day to think of next month, but DH's 30th bday is in July so I'll need a great idea for that too- and I don't want to use it up now if I can think of something vacation related.

Well it's hard to recommend things without knowing your DH, but my wife purchased for me the DiveQuest experience and I couldn't think of a single cooler idea than that!

The only problem is your DH has to be a certified diver to be able to do it, but if he is it would probably make his vacation. The other thing about DiveQuest that works out so well is that while your DH is in the water he can swim up to the windows and interact with you and your DD on the other side of the plexiglass!

I've never tried golf at WDW so I don't know what to say there, there is a driving experience and some other stuff like that at the Wide World of Sports that usually get pretty good reviews.

If you are looking for a dining idea, my all time favorite meal in WDW was actually at CRT during the MK firework show. I have seen the fireworks while eating at the California Grill, but I thought the view and the experience of the fireworks while in the castle was much more thrilling. Unfortunately my guess is that the firework times at CRT MIGHT be booked, but sometimes they are available when you wouldn't think (although on 2nd thought, with your DD it might be a bit late in the evening for your family... not sure).

I will try and think of some of more ideas...
